We always had a piano in the house. The first one came from Nana Lorna. She was a self taught pianist who even played for the silent movies once, at Sydney's Princess Theatre back in the 1920s. Lorna Thornton is a musical dedication to my amazing grandmother, who died just short of 100 years old. This music is wistful and gentle, inspired by childhood memories and reflections.
