Throughout the world and especially in Texas, there have been many legends of renown, but there has never been such a legend as the one of Los Surfvivers.
While much of the early reports of the first settlers of South Padre Island include tales of cannibalism and Roman Catholic reformation, there was one group of peoples called Los Surfvivers that has stood the test of time. On the longest island in the world, these peoples have conquered adversity, an extreme climate, and even up to the points of starvation and drought did they surfvive, and thrive. With over 150 years of combined surfing experience, learning from past heroes such as; Scott Gangle, Freddy Fender and even the infamous Blackbeard himself! No one knows for certain exactly where they came from with this unique new sound, but Los Surfvivers appeared early in 2017 and won the hearts of all who were graced with the abilities to hear their exotic island sound.
Unlike anything that has been heard, Los Surfvivers mix genres of surf guitar, with reggae influence. nature’s melodies combine with the rhythmic waves of a wild and uncontrollable sea
