Championed by Danny Rampling, and with a track recently included on the Café Del Mar 40th Anniversary compilation, the groovy ensemble is now delighted to present a collection of sun-drenched instrumentals on a double album, The All Day Breakfast: parts one and two.
The album’s sixteen tracks journey from the rumbas of Andalucia to the uplifting rhythms of Africa, tinged with jazz and blues and can be pre-ordered on CD or vinyl from the website or downloaded from the usual platforms from 16th October.
The double album showcases the versatility of guitarist and composer Andy Neate, whose influences cover the spectrum of latin, folk and world music derived from time living in Southern Spain and California.
He formed the ensemble in 2014 with the encouragement of Ghanaian master drummer and percussionist Nana Tsiboe (Fela Kuti) and their uplifting live performances rapidly gained a following in the South East region of the UK, where they are based.
“When I started Los Twangueros it was to create the music, both live and in the studio, that I loved listening to,” he said.
“It is a great, chilled, sun-drenched album, reminiscent of Café Del Mar in its infancy.” DJ Danny Rampling
“An awesome Balearic ensemble.” DJ Danny Rampling
"Many people in Ibiza have good things to say about the album and music and DJs are playing the music out which is a great sign.” DJ Cantoma
