Lost Demos

Lost Demos are a psychedelic-alt country-folk band based around the mountains and ocean of the Waitakere ranges, in Auckland, New Zealand. Their first EP <a href="spotify:album:1ZvYROLmhZtFWOo7tag5Fx" data-name="Viva Lost Demos">Viva Lost Demos</a> was released in 2017, followed by a Covid-lockdown inspired track (and music video created from clips sent in from band members and friends) <a href="spotify:album:3ZVpAXkql5cK9bMcVPGgQk" data-name="Watching the World Go Down">Watching the World Go Down</a> in 2020.
They are currently working on a concept album (due out in late 2022) exploring the final night of Richard Burgess - a traumatised deported convict who committed a spate of murders in Maungatapu (in the South Island of NZ) and was executed by hanging in 1866.
Lost Demos is a collaboration between musicians <a href="spotify:artist:1UIMuwGIpSUQ1Ia8WmL4K6" data-name="Peter Hobbs">Peter Hobbs</a> (songwriter, vocals/guitar - also in <a href="spotify:artist:3aeVxBev0eEcODZnx07vlc" data-name="The Bitter Suite">The Bitter Suite</a>), Andrea Holmes (drums), Jon Baxter (trumpet), Kieran Scott (guitar), Puck Murphy (banjo), Dylan Wood (bass guitar) and Rua Sargent (double bass).
