Lost Signal

Upstate New York’s Lost Signal extracts the marrow of euphoria, pain, and everything inbetween to craft his electronically driven soundscapes. As if writing the score to life’s mundane, Lost Signal is a metaphor for reconnecting that which is broken: reminding us that it’s all in the details. He is a lover of hardware synthesizers and a veteran of EBM/industrial goth, inspired by the melodic vibrance of Icelandic composers like Olafur Arnalds or Sigur Rós.
By just 17 years old, he had signed to an independent record label and began touring his perspective on the art (1998). Producing and sound design led him to a fruitful career working for various synthesizer manufacturers, while growing a robust collection of hardware. The compulsion to create and elevate life’s colourful moments is why Lost Signal continues today. His current releases include Catharsis (2001), Eviscerate (2006), and Apparition (2008) with an impressive tens of thousands of streams across digital platforms. While he expands his digital footprint, he’s in pursuit to connect with more core listeners as he writes another full length album on his 18th century farm in the countryside. This project will be a sort of resurrection since the Apparition EP in 2008.
