LouderThanLove created a space for hard edged blues rock in the midwest, forming in the middle of the first decade the 2000's, and performing countless shows through the next decade. The power trio was heavily influenced by the gritty blues rock prevalent in the 1970's, a healthy dose of 90's grunge, and some pure hard rock energy.

LTL utilizes the raw blues energy of rock pioneers Humble Pie, the sweeping hard rock textures of Led Zeppelin, along with a touch of the musical bombast of Aerosmith, while tapping into the guitar driven ferocity of the Pat Travers Band, Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush, and the indomitable Robin Trower. The resulting product is a subset of inspired guitar rock that ventures into progressive rock territory, free jamming experimentation, and solid melodic songs to absorb.
