Louis Warner has been composing, producing and performing music for over 20 years. His music straddles the worlds of Americana, electronica, acoustic and experimental rock.
He was a founder member and lead singer of doomed indie rockers The Hotels, before going on to co-found post-rock perfectionists High Above The Storm.
His influences and interests in music are deep and wide, from drone ambient, via stoner metal, minimalist techno, post-rock to the singer songwriters who’ve set the grief (and humour!) bar high; Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, Mark Linkous, Jason Molina and Gareth Liddiard.
As a solo artist, he’s normally accompanied by a guitar and a laptop.
