Lovisa Niklasson is an independent singer-songwriter from the south of Öland, now based in Stockholm. She creates music in Swedish that emphasizes honest, relatable lyrics and melodies that accompany the emotions of her stories.
In May 2021 she released her debut-EP ”Skyttegravar” where the hard, bare and windswept environment of Öland mirrors her music and songs nicely. In the spring of 2023 Lovisa was seen on the show ”Songland” on SVT; a prestigious songwriting competition where her song ”Golvet I Hallen”, originally written by Lovisa herself, took home the winning prize; a song later remade together with Joakim Berg, Oscar Zia and Carl Falk to be released by Oscar Zia on Sony Records.
Lovisa has since been immersed in writing and self-discovery, and new music is set to be released in 2025, continuing the journey of healing and embracing self-worth.
