A collaboration between two old friends from India, “Low Volume” was born in 2009, when the duo happened to be living in the same neighbourhood in Germany. Making music late at night in a bedroom studio required the volume level to be practically inaudible and this is what gave the project its name.
Although one half of the duo moved away in 2014 to pursue his career and the other became immersed in the ups and downs of family life with kids and career, they still meet up frequently over long weekends. This is where the magic happens: they jam, experiment with and try out new gear and techniques, and keep their passion for music alive. Almost all of the releases up until now have been a result of weekend jam sessions and happy accidents.
