The typical Lowaddicts-ambiance gives you the urge to dance but also the feeling of dreaming away on a warm summer night.

The name LowaddictsSoundsystem is a reference to the yearly Lowlands Festival: A place where all possible forms of music can exist next to each other and where ambiance is the most important factor. Something that also applies to LowaddictsSoundsystem.

Dillan started as a producer in 2013 under the name LowaddictsSoundsystem. After two years of experimenting with different sounds and styles he met Maaike. What started out as a collaboration as vocalist and producer, quickly turned into a full-fledged duo.
In 2020 they collaborated with several artists. One of those collaborations, the one with Tessa, was such a fit, that they decided to merge into a trio.

LowaddictsSoundsystem also works together with Tim Thornton, the drummer of <a href="spotify:artist:2t9yJDJIEtvPmr2iRIdqBf" data-name="Fink">Fink</a>. With his input the singles ‘This Is Not Your World’ and ‘Gulfstream’ were made, but also the more recent single ‘Lies’ comes from their joined forces.
They played at venues such as Paradiso, Melkweg (Amsterdam), they played at Bevrijdingspop Haarlem and they were a guest at national radio stations such as 3fm. The remix of ‘Hide &amp; Seek’ (made by <a href="spotify:artist:1WvOL031HYqthvhtxb9Eh6" data-name="Paul Hazendonk">Paul Hazendonk</a>) got picked up by <a href="spotify:artist:2o5jDhtHVPhrJdv3cEQ99Z" data-name="Tiësto">Tiësto</a>

At the moment the trio is busy in the studio working on new music and a brand-new live show.
