Loyal Wife

Before Braille/Art For Starters creator DPJ enlisted vocal buddy Ashley Taylor for the debut LP "Faux Light." Together Awake & Alert members (Blake Kimball, Spencer Reed and Sam Hardwig) were drafted for the live band and studio musicians as first album was complete in 2011.


In 2017, DPJ returned, stating "Life has been quite different since (Faux Light)....Increased responsibilities with home + work + family + church can put other personal needs in a corner for more important AND time sensitive commitments. Sure..."Nobody puts baby(Loyal Wife) in the corner" ...unless there's an actual baby crying in the corner!!"


Now, with producer David J Jerkovich (Novi Split/Deep Dream) Loyal Wife continues to release collections of singles with the intent to form full-length album releases.


Sophomore LP, "Get Right," amounts to the finishing form of the first collection of singles, marked by the theme of using a more selfless creative process to achieve greater emotional health. More singles are in production with David Jerkovich(Los Angeles) and Riccardo Strano(Italy) and are scheduled for release periodically in 2022 & beyond.
