His interest in music began with learning how to DJ but quickly transitioned to rapping,
2018, he added LPB to his name, short for &#34;Light Pole Baby,&#34; and began releasing music online.
By this time, he&#39;d been arrested multiple times and looked to music as a way to turn his life around. 2018 Poody&#39;s 1st Mixtape &#64;Streetz Callin was Released Followed by 2019 Project <a href="spotify:album:5I2aqD9zQU1T2XbRM1tXAC" data-name="Solitary Konfinement">Solitary Konfinement</a>.
April 2020, Poody was involved in a shooting that took the life of his friend and high school football player Dexter Rentz, Jr. Shortly after this, he released his single &#34;<a href="spotify:album:73UZyHk0lahG1F7YDQGu7m" data-name="Address It">Address It</a>,&#34; which became his most popular song up until that point, streaming millions of times after release.
