Omar Ávila aka LRKLCHMPN (Lyrikal Champion) (Born May 20,1984) is a Venezuelan artist, performer and composer of rap and urban music with more than 20 years of experience.
He began in music being influenced by the grunge, punk and metal scene of the mid 90's and came alive with the rise of Latin American rock until at the beginning of 2000 he found a poetic refuge than in rap, understanding the genre as a ideal tool to vent thoughts of a Protestant and anti-system nature, carrying out an aggressive proposal that sometimes reminds of bands like Public Enemy or RATM.
After more than a decade dedicated to social activism through HipHop, in 2017 he began to work on his personal project from a more conceptual and artistic perspective completely far from politics, expanding his creative horizons and beginning to experiment with other content in based on old and new sounds such as trap, reggae, cumbia and even drum n bass, being today a rapper capable of expressing infinite feelings that can travel from the purest and hardest social protest, passing through self-confidence and taste of a Caribbean rumba until reaching romantic and seductive proposals, all through the sound mix in his compositions.
He is also an audiovisual and creative producer responsible for the development of multiple projects related to hiphop and art in general such as Banton Musik, El Point Vzla, HipHop En Movimiento, 2palacausa and El Templo Records and collaborator of many others.
