Combining the analog warmth of the 1980s with a modern digital touch, Cologne based Synthwave artist Lübro sets out to always capture a nostalgic feeling in his songs. Coming into contact with the Synthwave/Retrowave genre through Spotify’s popular <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DXdLEN7aqioXM" data-name="Retrowave // Outrun">Retrowave // Outrun</a> playlist and movies such as Drive and Kung Fury, the inspiration was found to produce his own music.
Releasing his first single in early 2021 a dream came true. Motivated by the nostalgic feeling that can only be found in the music from artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:6zrgIu0skCCFS7Ke9xOj1r" data-name="Timecop1983">Timecop1983</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7eOzCiTklgHxfpf6Mb3D2e" data-name="Mitch Murder">Mitch Murder</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:18iQQOuyGlHunPVzmoLY20" data-name="Miami Nights 1984">Miami Nights 1984</a>, Lübro’s single releases <a href="spotify:track:5eNsbcs5ChSrmN5WvgG8F7" data-name="When Eagles Cry">When Eagles Cry</a> and <a href="spotify:album:0SZvuti7Hj6GmxKJkCPHsW" data-name="Night Valley">Night Valley</a> were well-recieved by the Synthwave Community.
To dive even further, Lübro has evolved his catalogue with several Chillwave tracks inspired by artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:2AuO7oIWRt96rwS6bd526s" data-name="Monolism">Monolism</a> or <a href="spotify:artist:6aAXBSjwLUEukyVDhOuKNO" data-name="Voyage">Voyage</a>.
