Luca Meneghello

Luca Meneghello was born in 1966 and started taking guitar lessons at age 7. Alongside the study of guitar, he also studied music theory and clarinet.
In 1984, he enrolled at CPM and studied modern guitar with Giorgio Cocilovo for 2 years.
He started performing live in 1988 and met the American singer Lisa Hunt (vocalist for Zucchero) with whom he toured from 1990 to 1993.
In 1992 he started studying jazz guitar and attended Riccardo Zegna’s workshops in Siena Jazz.
In 1996 he attended a master class with Joe Diorio and Jerry Bergonzi at Tirano Jazz, and subsequently other master classes with John Scofield, Mike Stern, Frank Gambale, Mick Goodrick
At the same time he started playing with various jazz players, including: Dado Moroni, Riccardo Fioravanti, Stefano Bagnoli, Andrea Pozza, Mauro Negri, Stefano di Battista,MarcoRicci,TonyArco,LucioTerzano, Marco Vaggi.
He started teaching modern guitar in 1999 at the NCDM in Cusano Milanino, until 2005.
In 2002 he started working as a session musician both at live performances and recording sessions for leading Italian artists, including the singer Mina Mazzini (see discography & tours).
