LUCA SORRENTO (stage name of Luca Esposito born in 1983 is a singer-songwriter of Neapolitan origin).
After a musical studies course of about ten years, started at the age of 19, he debuted at the Palapartenope with the musical “Quartieri Spagnoli Set”, by G. Gallo and M. Gallo. Subsequently he joined the project “Blue Gospel Singers” as a chorister and soloist in various concerts throughout the country. Several television appearances including “Ti lascio una canzone” and “Punto su di te” (both on Rai1) and "Mezzogiorno in Famiglia" on Rai2, as well as “Italia’s Got Talent” on the flagship Mediaset Canale5.
Numerous appearances at prestigious musical awards such as the “Premio Mia Martini 2012”, the victory at the “Premio Piazza Campania” and the participation in the talent show “Ti va di Cantare?”.
Also memorable are the foreign performances at the Festival Fantasie Italiane in France and in Switzerland in the city of Thun. Worthy of mention, but above all of personal satisfaction, is certainly the song “E SI TU” presented in 2017 at the Festival Di Napoli New Generation judged as one of the best songs of the Festival by the President of the Jury, the great lyricist Mogol.
Recent participation in the important musical format Casa Sanremo, linked to the most famous temple of Italian music, arriving to qualify as a semifinalist among over a thousand talents from all over Italy with his unreleased song NOI.
