Lucas Barron is an alternative pop artist. Many know him as the lead singer of a boy band called The PruneTunes. His songs capture a 90's vibe with raw takes yet pop inspired rhythms. "What it's Like" starts as a slow ballad and ends with heavy power chord distortion, where as the track "Butterflies" is an acoustic take with mellow instrumentation that bursts into a heartfelt bridge. The song "Partner In Crime" is what Lucas describes as a track inspired by listening to Huey Lewis And The News, with synth pop waves that flow into an upbeat kicking throwback song. It has fun lyrics and a bouncy bass that sounds throughout the whole track. In terms of making music, Lucas claims to make whatever he feels he wants. He may have a weird mixture of genre's, but he hopes people like his work and can get something out of it. That's the whole point of music, isn't it?
