Hi, I'm Lucas Rens, and this is my pop project. I usually write songs about the uplifting and bittersweet moments of love life, sometimes about other things, but always based on personal experiences.
Ever since I was six, I would hear my made-up music in my head. I never knew why, but it was just there. Yet, being six and all, I couldn't show or explain this to people. So thus far, my life has been one big journey to develop the skills needed to record and perform these melodies, so I can finally share with people what I'm hearing. :)
Besides writing and recording songs, I also love playing live. I've got a dynamic band around me that helps me bring these songs to life on stage. Industry professionals have coined us as 'A fresh act, with catchy songs and lots of energy'. For us, while performing, it’s all about having fun!
Right now, I’m writing a lot of songs, as well as working on the release of my first EP. There’s a lot to come!
