Hailing from Perth, Western Australia, Whadjuk Noongar boodja, <a href="spotify:artist:27eabalIPD9bL23NSnjh3n" data-name="Luchii">Luchii</a> has been a member of the global music scene since 2017. Originally a producer for the Australian hip hop group Home-Baked, he later moved on to produce for global acts such as <a href="spotify:artist:5tQMB0cuNXdCtzovGt55uD" data-name="LUCKI">LUCKI</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2AwAtRmbmsuIr40rJFIWlv" data-name="Adamn Killa">Adamn Killa</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:052uglZ4PgpVs8YxEOViXz" data-name="Lord Apex">Lord Apex</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2tM4YvbGRPeHpxdD6PqLwe" data-name="WiFiGawd">WiFiGawd</a>.
His signature style comes from blending alternative and world music influences with moody synthesisers and lo-fi sounds. This developed from a lifestyle of travel, digging in the furthest corners of the globe for dusty vinyl records and undiscovered sounds.
In 2023, Luchii spent a year living in a van while circumnavigating the Australian continent, with guitars and synthesisers onboard. This had a big impact on his production, and he would often stick microphones out the window to capture birdsong or the trickle of a waterfall.
After returning from extended vinyl digging missions in Europe and South America, the producer is now releasing music with new collaborators such as <a href="spotify:artist:3agnCimLdkVM3mc4PFJUxC" data-name="Meltycanon">Meltycanon</a> and longtime co-creator <a href="spotify:artist:5DtW0iOjdHaYfYCK6EsM5O" data-name="Anwar">Anwar</a>.
