Liverpool based Producer, Lucid (Chris Tadd) has not followed a conventional Electronic Music career path - His musical career started playing live as a drummer in a band ‘Parliament Peace’ back in his Coventry hometown.
Driven by the uniquely immersive experience of live performance and his discovery of producers such as Bonobo, Jon Hopkins, Max Cooper and Floating Points - Lucid focused his musical talents onto Live production, using Ableton Push 2, Korg Kaoss Pad and Akai APC MKII, Korg Minilogue XD and Roland TR8S drum machine to create highly produced and distinctive electronica.
Exploring the psychology of sound with emotive, alluring, mesmeric productions created with live drum machines and synthesisers to create a visual masterpiece. His recognition came from his track Dimension which he self released and was quickly picked up by BBC Introducing.
