Lucifer was a little-known Canadian rock group that formed in Hamilton near the start of the '70s. Members of the lineup included lead singer and guitarist Eugene "Jay" Smith, bassist Bobby Washington, and guitarist Christiaan Kooij. The group's members also went by a nickname, Snap, Crackle, and Pop, probably taken after the popular breakfast cereal ad. Though obscure, it does seem Lucifer managed the release of at least one album, a self-titled offering that appeared in 1971 on the P-Vine label. ~ Charlotte Dillon, Rovi
