Luciferi Regnum is a 5-piece female fronted Melodic/Gothic Black Metal band from the small island of Malta formed and founded by Cortis in December 2021. The band’s members are Lilith Macabre on vocals, Il-Midfun on guitar, Cortis on bass, Sanguis on keyboards and Erebus on drums. The band is currently playing in various live shows and festivals which includes ritualistic, brutal and aggressive theatrics. The band is mostly influenced by bands such as Cradle of Filth, Mayhem, Emperor, Dimmu Borgir, and so on.
Luciferi Regnum’s lyrical themes focus on occultism, death, suffering and mythical creatures. Their musical orchestrations focus on black, melodic, and gothic riffs which gives a dark unique sound.
The band released their debut single titled “Banshee” in mid-November 2022 which gave listeners a taste of the band’s material and left a huge impact on the local metal scene. Luciferi Regnum’s amazing debut gig was on 9th December 2022 at The Advent of Khaos which boomed their single over thousands of listens in months.
Now the band are working on finishing and polishing the material for their debut full-length album which will be released in 2024.
