Luckiest Man Alive

It was time to light a spark for dutch singer songwriter Luckiest Man Alive. Too many good songs were lying around on a shelf in the dark in his music studio. “Me and all my songs are like secret lovers, dancing in the dark. ”
Luckiest Man Alive is the artist name of Roel Donckers. With his characteristic voice, he used to be frontman of pop-rock bands Sonny Rocket and Lukewarm that played shows from 2004 to 2015 in a lot of small and a few big venues and festivals throughout the Netherlands. In 2016 he adopted the name Luckiest Man Alive because he felt exceptionally lucky to have the means and opportunity to do what he loves most: creating music! Luckiest Man Alive started out as a band but in 2017 Roel decided that it was better to continue as solo artist and shortly after he debuted with the Album Selfmade Man. After a few live shows he took a step back from performing and took some time for collaborations and side projects, like for example doing some background vocals for Dutch band Sunday Sun. During this short break he never stopped writing and recording songs. In the beginning of 2020 Luckiest Man Alive started posting a new song every month on his Youtube channel (SeeLuckiestManAlive). And now he is also dropping this beautiful, very personal and second solo Album Light a Spark!*
