Lucky Octavian is a participant in the top 6 reality show Indonesian Idol season one where he finished sixth in the competition and won the second place in the back catalog singing competition between countries in Southeast Asia, Golden Memories Asia.
Lucky used to be the vocalist of the Nocturne Band and finally in 2007 he joined the vocal group Idol Divo which consisted of Delon Thamrin, Judika and Mike Mohede.
In 2010, he released his solo album, Sings Broery's under the Platinum Record label, where all of the songs are cover songs by Broery Marantika. In 2013, he released his second album titled All About Love, which still covers old songs and in 2022 he released his new album Satu Hari Sempurna with JK Records.
Satu Hari Sempurna is the story of his life where he finally got to meet his father after decades ago, in short this song is actually the answer to his prayers that he prayed and finally God answered it.
