Lucy Camp is a shape shifter. Project to project, she demonstrates an eagerness to keep her audience on their toes - from her trap/uk garage-tinged Down Talk EP (2016), the trip-hop visions of Whispers (2017), the synthwave shift on Summer Camp (2018), to the subsequent sonic sweeps into Darkwave & Industrial Goth territory on her latest project, Nights (2021) .It's easy to see why people are taking notice - her visuals have garnered over 30 Million views on TikTok alone, 8.5 Million views on YouTube, sponsorships from Nike, Champs Sports and co-signs from tastemaker outlets like BBC 1, 2DopeBoyz, Tommy Boy, Reddit's r/listentothis, a placement on Showtime's The L Word: Generation Q, as well as Crack In The Road, who described her as “a potential game changer.”
Relentless with her output, Lucy was involved in a near-fatal car accident in August of 2019, a subject she explores on her mixtape Campfire, with the song "Drive" that crescendos to a goosebump-inducing finale that puts you directly in her shoes and offers closure on her lo-fi boom-bap EP Someday Maybe with the track " Healing V2 ".
