Luis Trigacheiro was born in Beja, Portugal, and has a powerful voice. At 16 he started singing in the choirs of Alentejo, where the predominant genre is Cante (a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity). Luis Trigacheiro, however, also explores various genres and inspirations. He was the winner of The Voice Portugal 2020 and after signing with Universal Music Portugal his debut single, "Meu Nome é Saudade" was released in April 2021 and is his first Gold Single. September 2021's "Peixe Fora de Água" reveals a different aspect of his musicality, and the beautiful song "Quem Me Vê" on belonging and roots opens 2022. Released in May 2022, his debut album "Fado do Meu Cante" captured the spirit of Luis Trigacheiro. The album was well received and performed live for a sold out Tivoli Lisbon. "Mulher Contigo é Para Casar" was released in 2023. The first singles of his second album: “Há Algo em Ti" and "Era Noite de Lua Cheia" are a taste of "Ela". Trigacheiro’s second album, produced by Luísa Sobral, and featuring collaborations with Salvador Sobral, Milhanas and Irma. 2025 begins with a collaboration with Nena on a powerful duet “À Espera do Fim”. On October 25th Luís Trigacheiro will première at Coliseu de Lisboa, bringing his powerful voice to an iconic Lisbon venue.
