Merging the violin with techno live performances, LuizFribs has emerged as one of the promising names from the new generation, collecting supports in an ever-growing list from the kinds of Amelie Lens, Kobosil, Perc, Regal and SPFDJ. His signature sound brings raw and straightforward techno beats alongside tribal, percussive and groovy influences from Brazilian traditional rhythms and the oldschool sounds from the 90s and 2000s. Some of his most notable works has been out in labels like Agora, Etruria Beat, No Mercy and Gomboc.
A violinist since his very early years, Fribs incorporates the instrument into techno on a very distinctive and unusual way, giving it a touch of modernity and brutality.
