Growing up on the beaches of Perth, Western Australian there wasn’t much to do except surf until I discovered music. My first real interaction with music was shaped by my Dads record collection and my year 5 English teacher. Mr Rogers spent his lunchtimes teaching me how to play guitar after I completely flunked the school's music test.
I started writing my own songs when I was 12. With my favourite fake blue Fender Strat and a notebook, I could express myself in a totally new way, and is still how I vent and work through my emotions.
After leaving the small village of Perth I moved to the big smoke of Sydney to make the kind of music that inspired me and gave me so much joy when I was younger. Lyrics that make sense to me and music that’s hopefully makes sense to everyone else <3
