Luke Potter, also known as <a href="spotify:artist:6NTwUxpccbiSwvndhPhDwo" data-name="cld">cld</a>, is an independent singer, songwriter, producer, engineer, and instrumentalist from Allen, Texas. Currently based in Auburn, Alabama, he majors in Music Composition/Technology and is pursuing a Music Business minor at Auburn University. Discovering a passion for music production in 6th grade, Luke’s inspirations span across every genre. Originally wanting to produce electronic/EDM music but shifting toward rap and trap production, 2020 led him to finding the hyperpop, digicore, and the surrounding underground rap scene. He began releasing his first few songs under “cldsummer”, but would later shorten the moniker to “cld” in 2022. After releasing almost 100 original tracks under cld, Luke has decided to additionally release more guitar-focused, alternative pop music under his legal name, creating an outlet for the more personal, authentic side of himself. He credits EDEN as his main inspiration for his production and writing style on this new venture, and hopes to showcase his production and songwriting abilities through these releases
