Luke Robinson

After a career on the Texas country music scene, Luke Robinson shifted gears and his first Contemporary Christian release "Oh My God" tells quite a story. After his best friend's untimely death and the tragic loss of his Father in a freak accident, addiction and being in the devils shadow too long, Luke says "playing in bars, being on the road and those who I loved dying suddenly led to an anger and emptiness I could not shake. I needed a purpose and God put me in a place of rest where I could see more clearly that I was not living, I was just trying to survive and I didn't even know why. By the grace of God I started writing and I felt useful for the first time in so long. It's not where I need to be yet, but I am fighting each day to get there. I hope some of these songs can help you find a reason to keep going, whether through the darkness or the light, or the devils grip. Sometimes the right words can inspire and encourage...and actually save you...I know.”
