Luke Woodfield

Luke Woodfield is an independent Meanjin / Brisbane-based multi-instrumentalist, song-writer and music producer whose work spans over multiple mediums from music production to film-making and photography.

A fusion of soul, funk / disco with influences from jazz and R&B, his music draws from late 70s / early 80s groove and is often paired with a generally heavy beat-driven production that nods to instrumental hip-hop titans like J-Dilla & Nujabes.

Overlaid with soulful chords and a sprinkle of cosmic funk, his sonic craft aims to serve a sincere desire to deliver feel-good music to the tender-hearted of the world and beyond.
