Meet LULAY – an artist and producer from Sydney who is blending pulsating electronic pop/r’n’b melodies to create an atmosphere where groove meets emotion. Inspired by Labrinth’s soul-stirring lyricism, Remi Wolf’s energetic vocal layering and Kaytranada’s pocketed rhythms, LULAY channels her own sensibilities and experiences of Black womanhood to build community and redefine artistry in the Aus-pop scene.

Working from her part-bedroom part-studio, LULAY was the inaugural winner of Elevate; a new annual initiative supporting emerging artists launched to address systemic barriers and create more equitable opportunities in the music industry.
