Welcome to our neo-psychedelic post-rock. Luma Chroma is an art-rock project with roots stretching back to 1988, when Ayd Instone first formed The Jinx with fellow students and musical collaborators. Names and lineups shifted: Dreamweaver in the 90s, Luma Chroma from 1998 onwards. Across those years came eleven albums, recorded in changing contexts but always orbiting the same core concerns: a blend of neo-psychedelia, melodic adventurousness, and a restless philosophical questioning. All those works now sit under the Luma Chroma name on streaming platforms, forming an archive that maps out Instone's journey.
