RJ Massro, aka Lummen, is carving his path in the Bass Music scene with a sound that blends emotion, grit, and atmosphere. Growing up in Los Angeles County, he mastered piano, saxophone, and guitar at an early age—earning a rare spot in his middle school’s advanced Jazz band as a 6th grader, where he played both alto and tenor saxophone, and later performing lead guitar in a band formed with his closest friends.
In college, without his instruments, Lummen taught himself music production and discovered the depths of the EDM scene through festivals, inspiring his signature fusion of heavy bass, ethereal soundscapes, and lush melodies. Influenced by Zeds Dead, Boombox Cartel, Flume, Mr. Carmack, and Troyboi, his tracks guide listeners through a sonic labyrinth where every drop hits with purpose.
Since launching the project, he has collaborated with artists like Lumberjcvk and Odd Language, earning early support from the bass music community. With 2025 set for bold new releases, Lummen’s music continues to be built to make you feel, move, and remember.
