Luna Nixx

Luna was born and raised in North London to parents of mixed heritage. Her mother being of Sri Lankan origin and her father Persian. Since a young child, her mother was an incredible influence in her life. “She taught me to never give up, to be kind whenever possible and to be a good person. This has always stayed with me and I chose to live my life by this”


Luna’s passion for music began in early life where she grew up listening to what her mother would blast out around the house. This included many of the classics- MJ, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion. There was a heavy RnB influence and her ability to sing intricate runs and stylish riffs grew from a desire to emulate these artists. She now enjoys music from the likes of Drake, Travis Scott, Kehlani, Tory Lanez and many more.


At the tender age of 13, she was self- taught on keys and after borrowing her brother’s acoustic guitar
discovered her calling. This yearning passion and desire to learn about music was so prevalent and ubiquitous that she would later feed off producers, feeling her way around recording studios and immersing in the atmosphere to expand her ever growing knowledge of music.


Strong by nature and a natural sense to control are attributes that Luna possesses in order to ride the waves and strive for perfection at all times. We all have ambitions and goals, but her determination and strength will shine through in all her endeavours.
