Tom (Luna Rising) is a one man band doing mostly original hard rock/metal songs with an occasional cover song thrown in.
As a teen, Tom played saxophone in concert and stage bands but his real love was playing guitar with his friends in a garage band that went nowhere. Picking guitar back up in 2011 he got into open mics and ended up involved in a few local cover bands. The pandemic put an end to that so he got more heavily into composing and producing his own music and started to release originals. He was surprised as anyone that people wanted to listen to them. His tastes range from pop to metal and his songs tend to be hard rock/metal often with an ironic twist or a thought provoking situation but always feature a catchy guitar riff. His first release No Shame is a good example in which he pokes fun at musicians like himself wearing Dad jeans and a rock 'n roll t-shirt. After releasing a few songs he feels he's just getting started and expects to take on more ambitious projects. New fun and interesting songs coming soon...
