LUNG is a hard rock band from Melbourne, Australia. Formed in the early 2010s, the band's sound is heavily influenced by hard rock and heavy metal acts such as Tool, Bring Me The Horizon, and VAST. With much passion for and influence coming from Australian bands such as Pridelands, Deadlights, Polaris and The Butterfly Effect. Armed with their debut EP ‘Parasympathy’, the band has built a dedicated fanbase through their intense live performances and thought-provoking lyrics. LUNG is known for their strong DIY ethic, independently releasing their music and booking their own tours. They have gained a reputation as an exciting and dynamic hard rock band. Enter COVID and any momentum LUNG had was momentarily halted, however the band continued to hone their skill and remained busy writing exciting new music.
The new music has now come to life, with the band recording with Beau McKee (Closure in Moscow and DELOS). 2023 is the year LUNG will once again hit the stage and show off their huge live sound.
