Dylan Foster, more commonly known by his artist name Luxage, is a 24-year-old DJ & independent producer from the San Francisco Bay Area. Drawing inspiration from industry names like Mr. Carmack, Pretty Lights and Kaytranada – Luxage’s sound cannot be defined by a set of characteristics or genres.
Sporting a Soundcloud discography dating back to 2014 and continuing to release all of his music on both Bandcamp and Soundcloud, Luxage prefers to stay true to his roots and exists in a lane of his own. His remix of LUZCID’s “Sing Me To Sleep” on Circus Records was played out by Clozee at her Odyzey-curated event Voyage, attracting a new sector of fans for the budding artist.
Luxage prides himself in being able to produce many styles of music, while always heeding to his signature sound – funky basslines, a strong sense of melody and a vibe dependent on what he’s experiencing IRL or listening to at the moment.
His 2020 hit single “Dsnt Rlly Matter” from the four-track Drive EP on Lowly Records has garnered over 1.5 million plays on Spotify and was the first track of his to reach a million plays, shortly after being surpassed by “Cosmopolitan,” — featured on Spotify’s creamy.
