Pronounced "love after", alternative R&B artist LXVE AFTR has taken his heartbreak and turned it to the focal point of his brand XVTC. Raised in Atlanta's Zone 4, the musician attributes his childhood and hometown as a big influence to his musical career.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts LXVE AFTR started his musical journey at an early age; the singer, songwriter, and rapper's first musical experience came from the hard work of his father who was also an artist. At the age of 8 LXVE AFTR had received his first drum set which his father had purchased, from there, he elevated to singing in the chorus at Brown Middle School and began playing the Harp. LXVE AFTR credits his sound to varies R&B and Soul artists such as Sade, Michael Jackson, and Erykah Badu. LXVE AFTR also credits creativity and breaking the rules mentality to artist Kanye West. Growing up LXVE AFTR was so intrigued with music and sound that he would clean his room singing to every Michael Jackson album with his mother. With the constant singing and mimicking of Michael Jackson, LXVE AFTR has tailored his voice similar to that of the late Michael Jackson.
