Lynn’s first gigs were as lead singer with the mid-Sixties Liverpool folk-rock group The Bo-Weevils, with her then boyfriend Martin Craig on guitar. Since they married in 1968, she has sung live and recorded with the acoustic roots duo MG & Lynnette and more recently the folk-based Border Rebels, as well as occasionally solo as an a-Capella singer.
In 2007, Lynn & Martin released ‘Greenwood Side’, a collection of her favourite traditional folk songs, and in 2010 they released ‘Off-Grid’, which features Lynn singing songs by artists such as Bob Dylan, Robert Johnson, Gretchen Peters, Joan Baez and Leonard Cohen.
Lynn is currently working with Martin on restoring a collection of previously unreleased Rock’n’Roll songs, and their next project will be to record her singing some of her favourite jazz standards.
Lynn & Martin live with their three dogs in a former shepherds’ bothy in a remote part of rural Scotland.
