Growing up in Vienna, Austria, I was living inside a bubble. Shiny, protected, perfect.
This bubble burst when I experienced my first heartbreak as a teenager and couldn’t find ways to cope, because I never learnt how.

I picked up my guitar and started singing power ballads, my idols at the time being <a href="spotify:artist:6XpaIBNiVzIetEPCWDvAFP" data-name="Whitney Houston">Whitney Houston</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4dpARuHxo51G3z768sgnrY" data-name="Adele">Adele</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4S9EykWXhStSc15wEx8QFK" data-name="Céline Dion">Céline Dion</a>.
And when I wrote my first song, I felt liberated. I remember, it was a ballad (of course it was) and expressing through music what I couldn’t put into words, made this big, dark cloud that was hanging over my head for weeks, finally go away.

I have since left the power ballads behind and swapped my old guitar for a piano, but what stayed is the strong emotional aspect in my songwriting. Every song tells a story, a glimpse of my life, coming together piece by piece. And I feel so lucky to be able to share my story with you.
