A South African jazz super-group. Founded by bassist Shane Cooper and featuring the modern heavyweights of the scene Bokani Dyer on keys, Sisonke Xonti on sax, Robin Fassie on trumpet, Reza Khota on guitar, and Jonno Sweetman on drums. The sound is an Afro-psych-jazz-cinematica experience. The band has received support from Gilles Peterson, NPR's Bob Boilen, and more. They've featured some A-list guests on recordings like Shabaka , Arthur Hnatek, and Christopher Cantillo (Sven Wunder, Dina Ögon).
