With a melodic trap style and upcoming incursions into other genres, he wants to be one of the faces that brings the Irish music scene to the forefront.

Born in Nigeria and raised in Ireland, <a href="spotify:artist:1D54nbQOYVr1JwXfHJdnt7" data-name="Mac G">Mac G</a> has been singing for as long as he can remember. With a background in Choir, Guitar, and Piano, he realised at an early age that his passion was singing and started rapping around age 14. In University he met like-minded individuals who helped him realise that although football and school were his biggest commitments, he would never be satisfied until he explored his natural talent and affinity for music. Through his lyrics, <a href="spotify:artist:1D54nbQOYVr1JwXfHJdnt7" data-name="Mac G">Mac G</a> talks about his own personal struggles and his hunger to succeed in both his music career and elite football; with a sound similar to <a href="spotify:artist:6AgTAQt8XS6jRWi4sX7w49" data-name="Polo G">Polo G</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6jGMq4yGs7aQzuGsMgVgZR" data-name="Lil Tjay">Lil Tjay</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:58ICshZ0AgBMNJiLHK3U8l" data-name="Deno">Deno</a>.

He released his first single ‘<a href="spotify:album:2PWyNMskQlsDdTmFk0fdEA" data-name="President&#39;s Daughter">President&#39;s Daughter</a>’ last August and since then he has released two other songs, including ‘<a href="spotify:album:75sAwenvjq7tvVfHnGPz0y" data-name="Who Am I Kidding">Who Am I Kidding</a>’, his newest track, out now on all streaming platforms.
