Beginning from a small place called Halls, TN emerges an artist by the name of Mac Sug. His music speaks for his small town upbringing and the people that helped raise him. He realizes that with his music he can have a positive impact on a place that doesn’t get much notoriety for anything positive. Well, that was until Mac Sug was able to be signed by New York based independent label Bridge the Gap Entertainment. Since the announcement was made and the deal was final he has been the talk of his city!
Mac Sug, who is no stranger to trouble with the law and is in fact a convicted felony, uses his past lifestyle to inspire; it is his ability to relate to his audience that makes him such a powerful artist. In hip-hop today there are not a lot of artist that tell us a story and give us a visual view when listening to their music.
