Mack & Diesel are an Irish based house music duo composed of Taidgh McDonnell and David Hayden. Their story is a tale of two school friends who share a mutual love of house music… and making waves. After experimenting with producing various forms of music under different aliases over the years, it was the resurgence of house music and the clubbing scene in their native Dublin that inspired the dynamic duo to start the Mack & Diesel project in 2015.
With a love of all things house, and influences ranging from classic house luminaries such as Frankie Knuckles, MK, David Morales and Armand Van Helden, to then rising bass house stars such as Curtis Gabriel, Sonny Fodera, Tough Love, Low Steppa, and Gorgon City, Mack & Diesel is a melting pot of all of those influences fused with their unique special spice.
The duo have steadily built a growing, dedicated, and supportive fanbase over the years due to the high quality of their musical output, and have received support from both local and international radio DJ’s whom they had once considered a yardstick such as Hardwell, MK, Bakermat, Tough Love, Curtis Gabriel, Todd Terry and many more. Their tracks to date have also experienced considerable levels of popularity, with streaming numbers clocking up in the millions and their track "The Way It Is" having been featured at the top of Spotify's own "UK House Music" playlist for several weeks in a row.
