MACKAVON

MACKAVON was born June 10th. Born in Jamaica, he moved to Broward County, FL when he was about 4 years old. His mother would play artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:3fMbdgg4jU18AjLCKBhRSm" data-name="Michael Jackson">Michael Jackson</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2QsynagSdAqZj3U9HgDzjD" data-name="Bob Marley &amp; The Wailers">Bob Marley &amp; The Wailers</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3q7HBObVc0L8jNeTe5Gofh" data-name="50 Cent">50 Cent</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:23zg3TcAtWQy7J6upgbUnj" data-name="USHER">USHER</a> and many more. His influences also came from anime and movies he was passionate about, the music that would play in the background of these various media would influence him greatly. Ranging from punk rock songs to indie pop.
MACKAVON would go on to meet friends in school that motivated him to continue rapping due to his immense talent in free-styling. From then on he would meet his frequent collaborator <a href="spotify:artist:4YTc1bC37vmywTu0IFXtnA" data-name="Sejofcts">Sejofcts</a> and they would drop several hits, starting with Keep It Wavy which was reposted by local Florida singer <a href="spotify:artist:5Jy9GTHj3hkaEhsJQfCVAX" data-name="Ryahn">Ryahn</a> on her SoundCloud after she heard it.
In 2020 he would go on to meet <a href="spotify:artist:6ASri4ePR7RlsvIQgWPJpS" data-name="iann dior">iann dior</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7vSY9HEreOqb1Llar3UC38" data-name="POORSTACY">POORSTACY</a> and be in two music videos with <a href="spotify:artist:7vSY9HEreOqb1Llar3UC38" data-name="POORSTACY">POORSTACY</a>. He would also perform with the late <a href="spotify:artist:6ud7m10BNXaQCgwraFyP5O" data-name="Slutty Sonny">Slutty Sonny</a> that year.
He released a highly anticipated song single with <a href="spotify:artist:2r9JxlwwhDhTLiJCIDQpAi" data-name="Lil Shock">Lil Shock</a> titled “Iced Out Feelings” in December 2020 currently at 100 thousand streams.
Other hits under his belt include “WTF” sitting at over 275,000 streams. Talking $$$hit ft <a href="spotify:artist:4YTc1bC37vmywTu0IFXtnA" data-name="Sejofcts">Sejofcts</a> at over an estimated 350,000 streams which is featured in an award nominated YouTube series. He joined Broward’s Collective in 2022. Shortly after he started performing at Vice City World along with artists like <a href="spotify:artist:2Qjd90QwCSqg3LxoFnUvdu" data-name="Lil Ominous">Lil Ominous</a> &amp; <a href="spotify:artist:14co8pbYdjhcral9P9xPlR" data-name="Dxddy Mxck">Dxddy Mxck</a>
