MADDOX are a 5-piece indie band from Stevenage (UK); Jak Melvin (lead vocals), Tyler Smythe (bass), Elliot Smythe (guitar), Jimmy Taylor (guitar) and Elliot Bick (drums).
MADDOX have known each other since nursery school but it wasn’t until later on in their teenage years that they formed the band and released a number of well received ‘bedroom demos’.
More recently, MADDOX have developed a loyal 'live' following both locally and in the capital. The band have played sell out shows at the O2 Islington and this Summer shared the stage with the likes of Gary Numan, Slaves, Nothing But Thieves and Editors at Standon Calling Festival.
Off of the back of their debut single 'Just Like You', MADDOX secured a support slot with indie legends, We Are Scientists and with such a fine upcoming show the band have decided to put out a special digital release of two new tracks; ‘Count To Ten’ & ‘Remember To Talk’, the first of which will be accompanied by a self produced video from MADDOX.
