Made Mawut is a blues musician from Bali, Indonesia. His musical style is reminiscent of cotton-picking in the colonial era of slavery in America.
Born and raised in Denpasar, he began his solo career in 2005. He released his first album, "Blues Krisis" in 2014, Prison Songs project in 2015 followed by a second album in 2019 entitles "100% Merdeka".
In 2023, Made Mawut released his third solo album, "Tradisi", with a first single called "Tabir Kelam" featuring Nosstress.
In Made's opinion, blues music was born to break the chains of slavery. He brings this very spirit of resistance into his music and lyrics.
