Hey! I’m Madeline McDonald :) I’m an independent artist in Nash, TN! Here’s a little backstory to why I write. Music has always been more than just a sound to me. It’s how I’ve connected, healed, and found the courage to keep going in seasons. I started writing songs from Houston TX at age 13. I moved to Nashville on my own in 2016 and had no idea what I was in for, but was ready to work for it and figure it out!
My sound blends country storytelling with modern R&B pop and trap beats, pulling inspiration from the artists in multiple genres that I grew up to. I write for the people who feel like they’re made for more but might be held back by fear or hurt. My songs come from my own struggles, lessons and victory stories. I hope they meet you right where you are.

At the end of the day, I want my music to do more than just sound cool. After going through my own seasons of anxiety, depression, and losing my sense of identity, I’ve learned the importance of finding your purpose and your “why.” My hope is that these songs and stories can help you rediscover what’s possible and remind you that you’re never too far gone.
