Maël Hénaff, a filmmaker and musician with a passion for exploring technology, was born in France in 1994 and now resides in London. Growing up in the French Alps and boasting a Chinese-French heritage, Maël has always been drawn to the realms of design, film, and music as avenues for investigating the intricacies of technology in the context of climate change.

In addition to his creative pursuits, Maël imparts his knowledge and expertise as a lecturer at Central Saint Martins' MA Material Futures program. Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with esteemed studios like Superflux and UP Projects, honing his skills and broadening his artistic scope.

Maël's research has been showcased at the Design Museum London, Tate Exchange Tate Modern, Milan Design Week, and Dubai Design Week. Through his exploratory work, he delves into speculative scenarios, examining the hacking and democratisation of technologies. By initiating these conversations, Maël hopes to spark a genuine debate on how we can utilise technology to positively impact our communities.
